The Innovate4Climate (I4C) Workshop program is now open for proposals from organizations and companies wishing to host a workshop during I4C 2023.
Workshops will be held in-person during Innovate4Climate from May 23 to May 25, 2023 at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre in Bilbao, Spain
The Workshop Program is at the heart of I4C’s knowledge and technical exchange and offers the opportunity to highlight the most innovative solutions, ideas, and initiatives in climate action.
I4C workshops provide conference participants with practical knowledge and insights from experiences working across a range of relevant disciplines, including climate finance, policy development, carbon markets and carbon pricing, and technologies to turn dialogue into action.
Hosting an I4C workshop is a fantastic opportunity to reach an engaged, proactive audience committed to accelerating climate action. Last year during a virtual edition of I4C, we held over 50 workshops which were attended by over 6,000 participants from across government, business, financial institutions, and civil society.
Workshop proposals that fit the following will be considered favourably.
Focused on one of I4C’s key topics 1) climate finance 2) carbon markets and carbon pricing and 3) the Just Transition
Share the ‘how-to’ of innovative climate solutions
Have an expert, gender-balanced and regionally diverse speaker line-up
Have a creative, interactive, engaging format
Have a promotion and communications plan
Are 50 minutes in length
Have speakers committed to attending in-person
The Workshop Program is open to proposals from all organisations including those from the private sector.
There is no fee to host a workshop at I4C, but workshop organizers will be responsible for designing the workshop, coordinating, and securing speakers, leading the workshop in-person, and promoting the workshop with their networks.
